Proposal

My book is called ‘The Bottom Of the Garden’, its all about how little creatures and small things and it ends up being beautiful when it is not so close up there is 3 pop ups and this is just close ups of a snail, of a broken plant pot and a caterpillar. When I first thought of this idea it fitted well with the children aspect and shows children a different perspective of their own garden and maybe they will think more of creatures so it brings them more into nature and outside. They might like this book for the story that it tells about what lives at the bottom of the garden.
Its hard to decide what to put in as it is a children’s book but because I have younger brothers and sisters who read these sort of books and the idea’s I have come up with are a mixture of theirs and mine admittedly, it is a younger child that would read this as few words are used and a few things pop out but very colourful and chilled out maybe this might be just a day time because children might want an adventure.
I decided to do this after picking flowers and things and then their came my idea of my book. The Idea brought a lot of memories so maybe this would to adults while reading their child the book. Maybe put in more detail on things like the plant pot and the log that the caterpillars crawling over and the snail might have a detailed shell.
On the first page of my book is a fence with different insects, and flowers.
On the second page is a pop-up with a caterpillar and it is a pull yourself pop-up and the caterpillar is on the log.
On the third page is a broken plant pot pop-up and this is to show that anything can be at the bottom of the garden.
On the Fourth page and the last pop up is of a snail on a leaf this is to show not only that insects can be but snails can too and the snail is munching on a leaf.
The last page is of a fairy that jumps out but it isn’t in a pop-up as it looks better flat.
